Substitute is similar to tower defense games, you must buy turrets and other weapons to protect your city from the sub-virus. You all also control a gun with horizontal movement, which you can upgrade with the money you earn from killing enemies. Spend your time searching for an anti-virus, upgrading equipment, looking for survivors or training soldiers when the enemies retreat.
